Arzt Vom Gott
This life starts in the year of CY590 between the second and third phases of the moon on Readying 26. In the troubled town of Orbania, current seat of power to the Psinod's and the great evils hordes that have encamped around the walls of the Dark Tower, Durangalos. Within this tower reside Risa, once a student of Durant now drawn to the tower by its keeper. But Risa is not who they expect for she has a strong will and is able to remain loyal to Durant even while under their rule. Inside she is working against the powers that be turning the favor to the side of good but she is not alone in this venture as too are the others that remained when Durant was taken over to the Dark. Pikas, the steady man-at-arms to Durant and the trio of mind manipulators once drawn together by Durant, they are Five, Six, and Seven. Together they underhand whatever they can to help the world of Skell against the Durangalos.
Risa calls a meeting with the other four and tells them of a secret she has been holding for a few moons now.
"I am glad you were all able to make this gathering. I know it is hard for some of us now as this tower prepares for the coming war. What I tell you is something we must all keep secret from our lords for it may once again bring light to the far reaches of Skell."
Risa pauses for a moment and takes in a deep breath then continues.
"I am pregnant!" The others look at Risa with astonished faces.
"I know this is hard to believe but it is true, and before you ask I do not know how I have come to be in this state. All I know is that this is not a normal pregnancy by any means, once more the baby is growing at a rate much faster than normal for I have only noticed that I was with child but a week ago and I think it will come to final term today, very soon infact." Right at that moment Risa feels a contraction and drops to the floor. The other's move her to her bed and comfort her.
Risa reaches out for Seven and asks "Seven, I need you to go to the sleep chamber and retrieve on of the Songen crystals."
Seven leaves the room. Risa sits up and says "We need to send this child away from here before the tower notices him, yes the baby is a boy, I can just feel it somehow." The others mention several ideas but Risa comes up with the plan they all agree on.
"We will send the child to Castle X and to the care of Gerg until such a time as it is safe for his return." Exclaims Risa.
Seven returns to the group with the Songen crystal and before Seven can give the crystal to Risa, the time for the new arrival is at hand. The group are able to handle this delivery with surprising ease and almost no real discomfort to Risa.
Risa takes a few moments to recover and embraces the baby.
"I don't know where you are from but I know there is good in your heart." She looks at the others gathered around her and says "It is as if he is speaking to using telepathy but in a way that I do not hear any words, I just feel that I understand what he is trying to communicate to me."
"He want to help me, to heal me from what happened to me on Lavinnya when the demons attacked Durant's school, but he is not yet powerful enough to accomplish this task." All look upon the boy infant with wonder in their eyes. Risa continues "Put the Songen crystal on my necklace and place it around the child's neck. This will help to nourish him in my place for a time while he is at Castle X."
(Note: A Songen crystal meets all of the bodies' requirements for nourishment through a psionic link when placed on an individual's chest. The effects last for one em during which the crystal glows bright on day one and slightly dimmer each day until day ten when the glow is extinguished. Once the crystal is placed on an individual's chest it can not be removed until its power has been depleted. Songen crystals are not naturally formed but rather imbued with the psionic energies by a Psionicist. Songen crystals are not found on Skell.)
After a moment Risa feels a presence and looks at the boy. Again as if sending thoughts Risa says, "He will be named Arzt Vom Gott. This means Medicia or Healer in my villages' ancient tongue."
"We must prepare to send him now."
Risa instructs everyone to hold hands and says,
"It will take all of our strength to send the boy to Castle X. I will send him and all of you concentrate on giving me your power. We will probably be noticed after this so breakup as soon as it is done and I will send a message to Gerg so he knows what this is all about."
At great risk to all they send young Arztie to Castle X and then immediately spread out within the tower and go about their duties.
Risa, although almost drained of power, summons just enough to send Gerg a short message written on parchment,

Risa falls asleep......
Meanwhile at Castle X.....
Gerg is in a private meeting with Ambassador Pagano.
In the chapel before the fabled armor a baby appears wrapped in a white cloth. This goes unnoticed for a while until Gerg enters the chapel to prey to his god. He notices the baby right off and is about to call someone in to take care of the baby when a small piece of parchment appears out of thin air on the baby's bundle of cloth. Gerg reads the parchment and then looks at the baby. He then kneels down next to the baby and says a few prayers and then communes with his god on other matters first and then about this new arrival to his retreat.
Gerg asked several different questions regarding the child and was satisfied of his good nature and point of origin, however there was also an unsolicited reply from his god, about the child that Gerg thought puzzling, the message said,
"Send the baby to the north to be with the Elves."
Ah but the years spent with the Elves is another story.
Arztie returns to Castle X in the summer of 3812 after 4 long years and reunites with his old friend Gerg. Arztie tells Gerg of his plans and and moves on to see to his plans in the City of Greyhawk.
