Knowing that Magnus would be beneficial to the group Aluna went out looking for him. She hoped he would be at there old stomping ground the Green Dragon Inn. "Before I return the group, I should look for him" she thought. She pulled her cloak tighter to her body. She paused before she opened the door of the inn "here goes nothing". She pushed open the door and scanned the room. She saw Magnus in the corner drinking some mead and twirling a dagger with the other hand. She walked over to him and sat down "We need to talk"

My thoughts exactly! "Where have you been?" I asked in a worried tone.
I tried to rejoin the group only to find you no longer apart of it and this new guy "Arti" says he is running the show.
I came back with tale of a book I had found that for some reason or another I am able to read and it cured my ailments, and I feel normal once more!
I tried to tell the group of my findings and how it might be beneficial to look into this strange book and explore the possibilities but all my words fell on deaf ears and this "Arty" guy told me I was no longer wanted and everyone else just went along with it, like they were mesmerized or something.
Sorry for rambling on about that, its been irking me ever since, ...maybe you can help me with this book if they wont.
Also I am sure you are here for a better reason than listen to me rattle on, what can I help you with... maybe we can help each other!?

"A lot has happened while you were away" she sighs "To cut to the chase I am now the thieves guild master, and the old master and the mayor are helping me" The bar wench comes by and asks if he wants more, Aluna motioned to her "I'll have one" The wench walks away. "Arti can be a bit brash, he means well and is a tremendous help" Aluna sits forward on her seat to get closer to Magnus so that she can whisper and he still hear her. "Now this book that you are talking about that healed you, and that you were able to read how did you find it?" she asks "What does it say, and does it mean anything of importance to you?" She quickly looks around the room making sure no one is watching them. "I need your help, your ability to track people might come in handy with trying to catch this man, I know that this thing is not normally what you do but he is an evil man" "I will not lie to you, if I get the opportunity I will kill him without a second thought" "If you still wish to help me then I will get back into contact with you, the rest of the group is at the blue bolt Inn"

One of the top understatements in WoS history: "Arti can be a bit brash..." Congrats.
Will someone summon the stone mason and get this carved on the obelisk..?!
And the nice obelisk too. Not that crappy one we keep put Czar's nonsense on.

As Magnus walked away from the group with whom he traveled to Castle X, he found himself accosted by several Knights of Pholtus. Sensing their aggressive stance he quickly fled, only to be surrounded and captured.
"I would be grateful if you would hand over that stolen property," said a tall and muscular guard. All the knights were just as big if not more so and ready for battle, clad in full chain mail from head to toe and carrying short swords, dagger, and a shield bearing the holy symbol of Pholtus.
"I can see you are wondering why we would be claiming you were in possession of stolen property? How do they know, you might ask?" One of the knights walked calmly up to Magnus and held his hand out in expectation of a delivery.
"By the law of the land I shall not ask again. If no book is forthcoming you will be charged with possession of stolen goods and seeing how you are outnumbered ten to one I would be inclined to be lenient in your sentence should you cooperate. Say, a mere warning, because in my humble opinion, you were unaware the book was stolen, ect? You know, mitigating circumstances?"

"I am not sure what you are talking about... I can't even read" - I look at these men very confused - "Besides what makes you think I have anything that belongs to you?"

Having no patience at this time the knight in charge orders his men to subdue Magnus and take the book. Once the beating is finished the men carry Magnus to the edge of the cleared land surrounding Castle X and toss him into the woods. After an hour Magnus wakes up. Saerching his possessions he finds all is accounted for except the book.

Dumbfounded at what just happened and lost as to where to go to find my destination, I return to castle X and camp out waiting for my friends to begin their journey and tag along behind them until I can find where I need to go.

As quickly as Magnus could sense heat it was gone. All was dark and quiet for a time. Then a light appeared as if at the end of a tunnel. Magnus felt himself being pulled towards the light. It seemed to bring a sense of relief as it grew larger as he approached. "Maybe this is the way out," he thought.
He found himself standing in front of a series of roatating disks, interlocking and turning in sequence. He had seen something like that before in the mill where the villagers took their wheat and grains to be ground into meal. It seemed curiously out of place. He then felt himself pulled forward past the disks to what looked to be a bird's eye view of Castle X. Fearing for his safety he tried to scream but no sound was made. He saw he was falling towards the back of the castle. He saw Balo, dressed as a smith, hammering a sword on an anvil while the guards, knights, and inhabitants of Castle X went about their routines. He wondered why they did not notice him rapidly descending.
He stopped when he reached the anvil and floated just above it. Balo looked at him and grinned, all the while hammering and shaping what looked like a khopesh, the sword of his ancestral home of Aigyptia. Balo then spoke in a language Magnus had never heard before but he understood it.
"Your journey, whatever road it took, brought you to me. When I breathed upon the anvil of Pharos the first time it was to slay. This time it is to heal. Let this sword reside beside it's brethren in the circle. One circle to fight another so far away. By the eight points of chaos this blade shall point but one direction as the law decrees. When the tides of war reach these walls you shall be a living weapon to be wielded by only the lawful. You are hereby named MAGNUR the Life Bringer."
