Leroy’s Log Entry one Growfest/01/595, Well Same as usual, I got up, Said my Prayers to Saint Cuthbert, Got myself washed up, (would be nice if they had hot water but hey, didn’t have that back home so no complaints(,Went to see my mentor and after early morning training and breakfast I went out amongst the people to spread the good word of Saint Cuthbert as well as kicked the butt of one of Pholtus’s disciples(the guy wasn’t that bad in the fighting department, but not good enough for LEEEEEEEROOOOYY of Jenkins) I met up with some friends at the Green Dragon for a drink, or two, or a barrel. A commotion outside broke up my blissful act of inebriation, where I discovered to be caused by a couple of my brothers, against some followers of Pholtus. I would love to call it a fight, I would love to but it was really pitiful. I mean yeah you expect that from anyone following Pholtus, but from Saint Cuthbert? Still, I kept a look on, I didn’t help them out till it got serious, after all who am I to get in the way of my brothers kicking butt in the glory of Saint Cuthbert’s name, plus it looked like they needed the training. But those Pholtus follows eventually got their act together, and it was timed to get involved, though wasn’t sure if Saint Cuthbert would consider this a good use for any actions in his name, I mean…frankly it’s almost insulting at their level, so I decided to go for a more subtler technique and in his Holinesses’ name I approached one and casted fear on him. Yeah anyone would should run when Saint Cuthbert is on the scene, and coming from me I’d be concerned too, anyway it worked, guy ran away, the guards came and broke up the rest. Pity, they would be better off leaving those Photus trouble makers to us. Went back to drinking, engaged in a bit of dart throwing with the bar tender as my partner, wow 9 gold, made plans to hang out with my druid pal who seriously has something going on freaky with that squirrel, I just know it. Something up with my friend Aluna, she won’t tell us just how she covers her tab here. Only two professions I know are worth keeping from your friends, and she’s not the thieving type. I vaguely remember my other two friend there, though it may be the booze. What’s in that stuff, has squirrel boy been supplying his special wilderness blend again? I lost track of the time and got in after the church was closed, and well drunk, all I can come up with was the truth, and drunk, I couldn’t come up with it well. So to make up for it 5 gold donated to Saint Cuthbert and one more to cover the expensive of those poor two guys robes. Wait are they made off, 1 gold? Is this Drider silk or what? Hopefully I wont get some appropriate both demining yet learning experience to make up for it tomorrow. Chicita, I miss you my feathered friend, but my dreams of handing out righteous fury and yours of being the number one champion of the Chicken Fighter Federation have set us in different paths.

Leeroys Log Growfest/02/595 Well got up this morning with a terrible headache, Thanked St. Cuthbert for using defusing the situation Yesterday, I think , I hope he saw this as preferable to simply handing them their asses…in this one case. I did get an earful from my mentor on the values of being punctual, and it was recommended I make it back on time from now on. And I had to polish a statue… the LARGE Statue of St. Cuthbert till it shone with his righteous glory as I meditated on my actions. The worst part of it is those eyes. Seriously they seem to follow you everywhere. Haven’t heard from my two brothers that the guards took away. I guess they are still locked up. I met up Farin, the Fortress Feral today at the market. He had slept outside the city in that circle last night and had some freaky dream about that machine 20 miles from the city and some high druid. Maybe he had some of those berries before he went to bed, still may be worth checking out. I then overheard some people talking about some sort of… ruined city under this one. The cave supposedly has a roof of silver and gold, and it is inhabited by mushroom people. Apparently there is a way in through the sewers. Let me guess, it’s going to be a big cave, lines with mica with hallucinogenic mushrooms fed by all the waste that flows in. If I ever find myself down there, I guess I could check it out. Anyway we met up with the gang later, and I and Aluna went off fishing. The others went off, looking for work I think. I snagged a huge fish, it had to bigger than me! It would been amazing to ring that home for, after showing it off to my friends first, unfortunately it broke the line, and got away. We stopped by the Green Dragon Inn, but I only had time for one drink before heading off and I made it back at the chapel in time. I don’t know if that was a look of surprise, approval, or disappointment in not having someone to scrub the steps tomorrow he had in his face. He is hard to read. I wonder if there is anything to that dream or rumor… and if so If there is any reason for the church to if not bless, at least tolerate my looking into them.

Lerroys Log Growfest/03/595 Morning Well Got up this morning, on the plus side no head splitting pain, on the down side that meant no getting drunk as a dwarf the night before, ah life is all about gains and losses isn’t it? Well after giving my prayers to Saint Cuthbert I went down to see what duties there were to accomplish, I noticed my two fellow acolytes polishing the floors. They seemed none worst the wear, and hopefully this will help them develop their muscles so then can so those followers of Pholtus what for. Still it means that their “playmates” from before are probably out as well. I’ll keep an eye out. I’m not too worried about them, but hey they could bring their friends over. Well I’ll burn that bridge when I come to it. The High priestess approached me to pull me away before leaving. This can’t be good, I thought, was it about my confrontation? Using fear too much, or was it not enough? Or was it coming in late…drunk. Usually she doesn’t get involved with such things though, granted there was always the chance it was something good, but hey, the odds of that is like getting three ones in a row on a 20 sided die. And it turns out it was bad…actually really bad. She said there was a ripple, a disturbance in me, not a result of my friends and that other priests have gone down this route and never came back. Wow, that makes me wish I was being scolded about the other night. She told me to be careful and let me on my way. I think I need a drink. So I made my way to The Green Dragon Inn without any incident. Looked around, No Pholtus in sight, just the usual group of patrons trying to load up on liquid courage, forget their broken dreams, delay coming back home, and taking the edge of life, which meant my friends were there. I got some dwarven ale and joined them, and learned that Ferin and Moji, got a job with the mercenary guild. Some guy Lord Muskgrave Was looking for his brother, who was kidnapped by the... FALCONS! They had hoped I may be able to check the church records on them. I thought that cult was long gone, they are still around. Could this be what the high priestess was talking about? I had to go see her at once! As I was about to go to tell her, those two Pholtus guys I scared off with a couple of larger friends showed up. However the Falcon business was much more important so I ignored them and left with my friends. Coming back to tell the high priestess and find out what I could we noticed we were being followed. It was those two Pholtus losers and their friends. One looked like he could handle himself in a fight, but the other, was he even human? That guy looked like he had ogre blood in him. He was huge. Apparently they were all whiny that they gotten beaten by one of St. Cuthbert's divine acts and that was illegal because I did magic on them. Not only was that not illegal but it was divine power, approved by a god, totally not the same. But they wanted a fair fight so I figured if it would get them off my tail so I cold get back and show them once and for all St. Cuthbert was fair and just with his ass whippings, fine. Luckily my little buddy Moji agreed to join me because, you know fighting as with all things, save going to the outhouse should be shared experience. Then Ferin noticed the ogre had what looked like a falcon hidden in his hands behind his back and called him out. He refused to show us, Ferin made a grab at it, but failed, and called him out to show off the falcon he was hiding. And ogre face ran off. Ferin used some sort of druid plant attack to ensnare him and he dropped the falcon. Those Pholtus guys saw it and started wailing on him! Wow, totally different from the other day. They must have had some serious training, or mad, or channeling Pholtus's anger. Any way Aluna grabbed it. It seemed some type of falcon statuette dagger thing. Me and Ferin started to go the church with this disturbing news, when suddenly I felt a divine energy pass by me, Another of Pholtus followers, went by but in a class far above the others and stopped the fighting. He said that I had an ally in the Photas and warned me much like the high priestess on how I may be heading down a dark path and to watch my step. And that the accused deserved proper judgment. That was…disturbing. Both he and priestess seem to know more about what waits in store for me then I do. And if a member of Pholtus is looking out for me… This must be even more serious then I though. After the fighting had been diffused and with that strange warning and proof of the Falcon cult still be alive Ferin and I continued to the chapel where we presented ourselves to the High priestess as the others returned to the Green Dragon. After paying her respect I started telling her of what had transpired, but at the mention of Falcon, she immediately had us meet her in the privacy of her chambers. There she offered a weak beer and we made our case. We told her about the task from the mercenaries guild we were about to do, we gave her the falcon statuette, which contained a dagger as our proof. She was able to divination its authenticity. She said that it was the proof they needed to search for the Falcon, and gave her permission to follow through where it would take me. She warned that I may not return and if I do I may not be the same person. I told her there may be nothing to come back to if I didn't. She actually said there may be hope for me yet, heh. Ferin informed her about our employment of Lord Muskgrave. She told her of her reverence for the druids and informed us that the cults last known location was in the sewers but was attacked ten years ago by a group of adventures. The cult was all but destroyed. The leader of the cult was an undead women known as the Pengallon. She could detach her head from her shoulders and chase people around, causing insanity, or death, but was destroyed. She said she can offer us an elixir of health and viatilty but there was no in depth records of the Falcone. She did know of one who had interviewed those that were involved with the cult but was a member of the church of Pholtus, but we'd need a friend there. Ferin mentioned the incident with the Pholtus priest that had broke up the fight. I was wondering how to break that to her, but looks like Ferin did that for me. I told her of his warning to me, and asked permission to seek his knowledge despite our two churches uneasy relationships. With her approval, blessings, and love, she warned me of the dangers of pride getting in way of doing what is right. With that she dismissed us.I hope this will be enough, if not for me and my friends to return, at least to stop Falcone. Hmmm I wonder though if the rumors of the underground city may somehow relate to this. What I thought was just a mica filled cave with magic mushrooms, could instead be the hideout of the cultists. We went back to the green dragon where we met up with the others and told them what we had learned. Aluna was especially delighted that now she had justification for a romp in the sewers. Perhaps this would be good practice for my water purification blessing. But before that we need to find out more about what happened 10 years ago, so it looks like I will need to go see the Pholtus church, and for that I need something a bit stronger then what the high priestess gave me.

Leroy’s Log Entry four Growfest/04/595, I went back to the tavern to tell my friends of Atari's tale, and get a strong drink. Afterwards we left to go to the Temple where we met up with Ferin. Who told us about his trip to meet with the priest we had encountered from that morning. He said that this priest had documentation from a priest of Saint Cuthbert, and if I wanted to read them I needed the bring the White Gauntlet of Truce. An artifact used to bring our churches together in matters that would unite us against a common enemy. It was currently within Atari's possession. I travel back to my church to meet with the High priestess. I never can get past how magnificent his house of worship is. To be within there halls is almost like being in his own presence, as if they tried to capture his magnificence in stone and metal. I told her of my request of the the glove so that I can have access to those records at the Temple of Pholtus. She retrieved it from its hiding place and presented to me priestess and told to not screw it up, what to say and that the last time this happened the glove came back without the person. I went to the tavern to get my friends and Moji called me over and told me that we had a note delivered to us threatening our lives and it had a seal with a W on it, or an M, or an E. I had no idea what it was about so we decided to go back to the Pholtus Temple, when 4 members of the city guard came up to us and started asking us who we were, how long we have been here, and why we were here. I knew anything about that, and about the fight that too place earlier. They wanted us to talk to the chief of police, so we decided to talk a small detour to speak with her. With the infiltration of Falcon in the Pholtus Temple, I am a bit unnerved about this. They gave us a wagon ride over to the Grand Citadel and soon we were in the office of the Chief Constable. There we learned the Chief Constable Fanshin was not in and we would have to talk with her Deputy Constable Nester Mordon. With a bit of uneasiness we sat down before him. We were asked again, who were are, where we were from, why were here. He wanted to know about the fight and we told him about how Lord Muskgrave hired us to find the magistrate. He responded how there was none. It was the Chief Constable that was in charge and if we had been drinking, or smoking. Wait? There is no Magistrate? Then who were we hired to find? After we concluded our business with the Deputy Constable, we all went to the Church of Pholtus, well except for Bolin. He never wants to hang with us for some reason. At the entrance We were stopped by two guards. I humbly presented to them the White Gauntlet of Truce and recited the proper words. We were led into the church to have an audience with the High Priest Aurcandi Vintrus. It was nothing like the Church of St. Cuthbert. It was much more simpler, more like a series of tents. We were taken to one and there was the man we saw the other day that stopped the fight. The High Priest of Pholtus. I presented the glove, and swore to enter a holy alliance with him to remove the evils of the land. He offered us some drinks and we got down to business. We. We learned about how his friend of his friend Telesect, a priest of St. Cuthbert who had been missing for 5 years, had discovered the Falcon had established a network that had taken positions in the city. We learned that there was no magistrate. The Magistrate Reginald Muskgrave was cast out 5 years ago, beheaded and thrown into the sewers. His brother Lord Muskgrave was deeply affected by this and had hired many people to go search for him. Lord Muskgrave may have gone crazy or may be one of the Falcon himself, and if so, had to go down. We told him about the letter sent against our lives. At this point we don't know who to trust. Aurkandi informed us that this is the falcons' intent. He told us that Telesect and his group went down to the Great Burn, a place in the city that caught fire and watched as people went down into the warehouses and never came back out. Checking out the warehouses they found a way into the sewers. They found strange creatures that could fly in the air, hard a hard shell, and attacked by biting. We were also told that in the old days when the mages were still around, zombies were used to clean out the sewers, but with the mages gone, the zombies were probably gone. Probably. I suppose with our luck there will be a few of those to deal with. Telesect never came back, and if we find his body, it would be best if we left it there. I'm not sure abut that, if it was somehow corrupted, then we should deal with it, if not, then he deserves a proper burial. Aurcandi told us how to navigate the sewers to where a secret door should be. He gave us his blessings and dismissed us. I took back the gauntlet and Aurcandi told me he would accept meeting the High Priestess Airatie for darts. I returned to the Church of St. Cuthbert to reek the audience of the High Priestess Atari. I returned to her the gauntlet, I told her how The High Priest of Pholtus Aurcandi was, and delivered his message to play darts. She seemed rather pleased at that. She dismmissed me and I went to meet with my friends at the tavern. When I returned to the Tavern, I was told that we had yet another death threat. Great! It's probably from Lord Muskgrave. Is this guy mad? He wants us to find his brother, and not find hs brother? Anyway there is no answers for us anywhere other then the sewers so we donned our armor and went to the grate Arcandi told us about. We then went to the grate, but it was locked. Aluna said she could unlock but failed, Moji tried whacking it open with his axe, but the lock was too strong, and that alerted the watchmen. After a short talk, they suggested we retire for the night, and it was a bit late so who were we to disagree. Well end of day and I was going back home but Aluna was obsessed with me staying at the tavern, even going to the temple to tell them was too much for her. What's her problem? I wanted to ask permission as it was St. Cuthbert's most holey of days but I guess kicking ass in his name on that day may be a better way of observing it. So we all, save Ferin went to be bed in the tavern. He went in a tree. We will continue our task the next day.

Leroy’s Log Entry five Growfest/05/595, Well I got up at the inn, kind of felt bad for not being involved in God's Day, I suppose sleeping here would avoid certain questions about that, though in some ways is this not the most essential way of giving my appreciation to, and keeping on the path of St. Cuthbert? I suppose I will just have to be successful and then return with my report to the high priestess. I got dressed in my armor as opposed to my robes, given where I plan to be spending the day, and how it seems best. We went down to the south to check out a grate in the south. We took a side street and waited out of sight as the parade went past us. Although I looked on with a bit of regret I knew this was one God's Day that I would have to miss out on the festivities. I didn't see any member of the Falcons as I scanned the people going by. After they have left, we went down to the great burn, we noticed a group of men wearing a strange crests on their cloaks. They seemed to make Aluna ill at ease, no doubt some of her clients, so we left, and went up to the sewer guild hoping to find something or someone that could help us. The headquarters of the sewer guild was unlocked and managed, after questioning us the head of it seemed less than impressed of our "reasons to need into Greyhawk's fine system of waste removal and had us leave. Then Bowlin somehow managed to get both a map and keys to the sewer system. How he convinced that guy I don’t know. Fortunately there was a grate behind the building and using the keys we gained entrance. We gave the keys to Ferin and had him return them and we went down into the dank, dingy depths below. After exploring a bit we discovered a few things, 1 how to read the map, 2 there was an easier way in by the river, and 3 we couldn’t use this passage to get where we were going. As we headed near the river exit, Ferin something was coming up behind us. We noticed it's temperature was the same as the background and humanoid, so either it was a member of the undead, or a lizard man. Given that this place used to be filled with zombies, I'm guessing it was the former. As the others left Moji and I decided to investigate. I shielded Moji from the detection of the undead and sure enough it was a zombie. Moji managed to take it with one hit, cutting it in half, and then…screamed? He said he had a vision of Lord Muskgrave, arriving in his carriage and had us all go into it. But it turned out to be the other Muskgrave, the one that got beheaded and was thrown in the sewer, not the crazy guy who is in possession of his head and not in the sewer. Moji asked about him being dead, to which the Magistrate started screaming, then Moji screamed, then was back here. Strange. Ominous. Well we left and searched for another way in, a way that would take us to where the hidden door was supposed to be. We found a grate behind the old abandoned mages guild and went there, It was behind a hill and with everyone else occupied we had what was our best bet at getting into the sewers undisturbed. First Aluna tried to pick the lock, and failed, then Moji tried with drunken dwarven might, and failed. Wow. Then Ferin tried, then me. All failures. Then Ferin did some magical mojo on Moji to give him super strength to pull the grate off, and he failed. After all of that we decided to try another grate by the mages guild. Moji tries running as fast as he could so he get to it before the spell wore off. And he failed. Great Grates! Well we are running out of unoccupied grates and nerves. Ferin blessed us all, then I gave Aluna blessings in hope she would be able to unlock it. It was not enough unfortunately. It looked like it was time to find a new way in, but the prospects all looked far worst then this one, and we may have the same problems. We gave it one last shot and we a... well not Aluna or the squirrel, tried together and managed to do it! Finally we have egress! We managed to get into the sewers and looked around, following the path to where the hidden door was… hidden. Moji and Bolin spotted it, Bollin opened it. We then were careful to check for any traps then first I peered inside the hallway looking for... anything. Nothing. I don’t like this. Whoever went to the trouble to conceal this door were they content with no other means of keeping intruders out? I asked for St Cuthford to give me the insight to any dangers within, and discovered just an old wall ready to collapse. Happy with the knowledge, but wary, about the lack of traps we marched on. The stench of this place was even worst then my feral friend Ferin. Aluna scouted up ahead, and saw several small warm spots on the walls and ceilings, and not in the water that seemed to increase in density the further down the passage as the scent gets worst. Moji, Ferin and I decided to investigate further. As we got closer Moji told us that one of them moving. We could then see others slightly moving a bit. They seem to be alive. Are they rats? No, they appear to have the shells of turtles with the legs of centipedes. We decided not to attack right away, as they seemed non hostile. We asked if Ferin can do anything, but all he could do was to calm them and make one friendly. With only one prayer left to St Cuthbert , I was hesitant to use it. They didn’t seem to respond much to our presence, just a bit of moving. Maji and I wet on further. Moji tested it and stepped past one, safely. I joined him, and we made our way to another door. Inside was a room, lit by candles on a table. There was a bed. Some chairs. It was obvious that someone lived there, and recently as evident by the lit candles. The stench of the sewers seemed to have been replaced by cinnamon. Moji checked out the table, to find seals, like kind that was used in those threatening letters threatening us. When he picked one up to examine it a dark corner lit up, and in a chair sat Muskgrave! The Magistrate! The one in the sewers. Except he had his head and seemed very much alive and very well dressed. Clearly being dead agreed with him. “I see my brother has sent me more food” Was his greeting as his head flew at us, trailing his internal organs screaming. He was the pengallon!

Leroy’s Log Entry five point five Growfest/05/595,
The head of the Magistrate flew at me and Moji, trailing glistinng vital organs behind it screaming like death itself had come to claim us. It immediately went after Mogi, biting him! I used my last prayer to St Cuthbert to transform my club to a shalalie. Bolin shot an arrow at the Panagolin, causing it to scream, and make a bloody mess. Moji managed to hit it with his ax, bringing it to the ground. Was it dead, no it flew back up, though even more hurt. Bolin got another shot in, but apparently not as bad as the first. This creature was tough. It went for me but I managed to keep it from biting. A dart shot out from now where missing, everything. I yelled out and attacked, hitting the abomination with the righteousness of St Cuthbert, making a terrible mess, that smelled like...vinegar?" Ferin, did something...and the head seemed to be encased in some sort of fire that really didn't seem to do anything. It made it look more horrific, a flaming bloody head flying around dangling organs, thanks Ferin. I'm sure this is going to give me nightmares. Bolin shot another arrow in, sticking into it, making it fly crooked. Mogi wielded his mighty ax and hit it hard, causing it to lose some of it's face. Bolin shot it again, ending the cursed Magistrates half life. As it laid dying, it rolled over and cursed us with "The falcon is going to get you". Then it started to decompose. I looked at the body, and saw a weird foam was starting to come out of the neck. The stench. Suddenly those strange creatures we snuck past started to come in. Just great. They headed towards the head. Wait are they going to eat it? We need that head! Ferin must of did something to them, because a few of them stopped moving. I could get a better look at them now. I could now get a better view of them. They had a pointed head, a sharp tail, and a dozen or so chicken like legs. We stopped, there didn't seem like we could attack all of of these creatures at once. Before they could do anything to the head they stopped. The flame that had lit up Muskgrave went down, making the room darker. We debated with Bolin on whether or not to get the head. The people who had hired Moji and Ferin, wanted the magistrate back alive, as he was dead, we don't need to, however my duty to the churches demanded I bring back the head back as further proof of the Falcon's return. Ferin went to the head to grab it, when nature boy kicked a rock, that hit one of those creatures. Of course it responded most aggressively and went for Ferin. It was pretty funny actually, but I didn't have time to enjoy it, because death by punchline really wasn't something I wanted for my friend. Bolin shot at it, and missed! I managed to hit hit with the remaining bit of life left in my shealelie and killed it. Ferin placed the head in his backpack, making us all relived not to have to look at that thing anymore as Moji and I went to the body to examine it and discovered a Falcon medallion. Moji took it and got covered in the vinegar scent dead guy foam. Aluna noticed a hidden door behind Muskgrave's body. She told Moji to check it out, but he couldn't find it, so I checked...Found it! I was a bit cautious about opening it. Moji and Bollin were trying to to get me to rush into it, Ferin and Moji were against it. Ferin then announced that either the door was magic or there was magic behind it. Suddenly all of the strange creatures left the room. I tried opening it with my club. Denied. I tried pushing on it, nothing. Aluna examined the door and found the mechanism to open it. She opened it...somewhat. It moved only a bit. Moji and Ferin managed to open the door fully. Looking in I could see a person, laying on a table, alive. Ferin Aluna, Bolin, and I wondered, is this him, Telesect Threaten, the Famous Paladin of Saint Cuthford who dissapeared down here looking for the Falcon. Ferin brought in a torch and we could see him in all his glory. He was decked out in chain mail, with a sword, covered in the symbol of a holy warrior of Saint Cuthford, with great big grey beard. IT WAS HIM! Next to him was a great big basin that had the strong stench of vinegar about it. He appeared to be asleep, but alive. Bolin said there was a magic field around Telesect. Ferin tried touching him, but it didn't wake him. He then tried moving him, and Teesect still did not wake up. Moji and I then picked him up. There was no way I was leaving him, despite what Aurkandi said. We carried him out of the sewer where he woke up! He seemed quite out of it, asking what was going on, and who we are, so I introduced myself to him. Then he passed out. Well at least we know his faculties are intact. I just hope, we can wake him up permanently. We carried him towards the Church, when he woke up. He wanted us to put him down, where he vacated vinegar smelling stomach contents. He sat up and prayed to Saint Cuthford. Bolin told him where we were taking him. He asked about the temple, and I told him it was still as magnificent as ever. He then introduced himself to me and asked me the date, then noticed his bear growth. guess the sleep spell had no effect on that. He praised Saint Cuthord then got sick again. He asked for water, and then told him how he had fought the Falcon, in apparently the form of a giant snake. We told him the current condition of the Falcon, how it disappeared, but is now resurfacing. He then asked about the Magistrate. He had remembered being tormented by him. We told him how he was executed after Telesect disappeared, and now was dead...again. We showed him the head as proof. He asked if I was a priest of Saint Cuthbert, and if we could go to the temple. Then he asked of my companions. We told them The High Priestess Atari, and the High Priest Auirkandi were doing fine. and that they were the ones who sent us on this mission. I did not feel it was important to tell him about the mercenaries. He asked where he could find us, then he kissed Alunas hand. Well Aluna does have that affect, which is pretty good considering her profession. Terresect, Ferin, Moji and I then left the others and went back to the temple, giving proper introduction and how we all met and come to this fine city. I could see the bonfire, and a part of me did miss it a bit, but it was soon dispelled as I thought how we probably celebrated God's Day the best way we could, destroying a great evil, and returning a long lost here home. They brought Atari out to meet him, he knelt down and kissed her ring, they left together, then we were kicked out for smelling like a Grythock. So we went over to the bathhouse. Actually not really a bad place to be kicked out to. Ferin spotted me and we all got a year pass, given just how likely we will be needing of this. Ferin managed to sneak his squirrel in without incident, though there was a weird guy with curly hair giggling and staring at it. We never saw that guys hands throughout our bathing. Afterwards we got a nice set of clean robes, curtsy of the bath house and strolled back to the Temple with squirrel, head, Grythock perfumed clothes and medallion. as the streets were being lit for the night. Fortunately that strange man did not follow. We made our way to the temple, and gave them our old clothes to clean. You haven't seen a more fearsome sight then a dwarf in a fuzzy bathrobe wielding an ax. We had hoped to present the head and medallion to Airatai, but she was unavailable, So Moji joined me in my quarters to go to bed and Ferin and his squirellfriend went to bed in some nearby trees. Hopefully we may catch the High Priestess tomorrow. I just hope I can sleep this night after what I saw yesterday.

Leroy’s Log Entry six Growfest/06/595, That morning we woke up, got dressed, and cleaned up the bonfire from the last night. We returned to the temple and ate breakfast. A cute female acolyte was flirting with Ferin when Tallasect came over with much less hair and looking like a new man and gave each of us a hug and engaged in small talk to learn know about his rescuers. He told us the high priestess was in a meeting with the high priest of Pholtos. We told him about the Pangolain and we had the head to prove it. He was surprised that it was no dream and he suggested we dispose of immediately. And then this happened... It seems my friend Moji was more motivated then coin then honor or justice. He said he would kill who he was paid to. Tallesect asked if Moji, if paid to...would kill...me? Of course he wouldn't I thought, but he proved me wrong saying he would. My friend of years, who had just got a mercenary job, the one that led to discovering the Falcon, destroying a great evil and rescuing a celebrated hero of Saint Cuthbert...would kill...me. Tallasect took us to a private room where we could explore this farther. He lit some candles and during our discussing Moji mentioned he he probably would not kill us, then changed his tune again that he would not kill friends, then said he may kill women that aren't attractive. I am completely confused. He then said he misspoke, but now I really am not sure. Tallesect then asked how much would the Falcon pay to kill him. Moji said he wouldn't kill anyone he just saved but if he didn't save him, he would. Ferin asked if he would kill Aratia. And he said he would if he was paid to. WHAT THE HELL MOJI? There is no way I would allow that to happen, even if it meant taking his ax in my skull, or ....even taking other actions to prevent this. Tallesct looked at him, in him and saw no evil but said he flowed like water, and coin. Which was worst. Thamuls thanked him for the rescue and told him to leave the church. Then looked at me, and was disappointed in my choice of friends. He told of us that should Moji cause harm to anyone he cares of, he would hunt him down. And frankly after this I would join with him. As he left the candles went out. I went with Ferin to destroy the accursed abomination...and to think about many things. Ferin had the brilliant idea of sending the head back to Lord Muskgrave as a message that is undead brother was defeated, that his meal survived, that his evil deeds were discovered and we were coming after him. He even used the name of Saint Cuthbert to justify it! However Telesct told us it was destroyed and for all we know it was Lord Muskgrave who brought it back to life, and who to say he wouldn't do it again. This thing was evil, and we must make sure that it is truly destroyed. I manged to convince him that it was best for us to destroy it. We went west out of the city and into the forest, and searched for most of the day for wood and rocks to make a proper firepit so that Ferin wouldn't burn the forest down and loose his position of druid, because, being a nature worshiper you apparently aren't allowed to destroy nature. After we finished I prayed to Saint Cuthburt to bless the fire and then Ferin placed his backpack into the fire. We waited until everything but the skull was gone. We put the fire out and then Squirrelboy here wanted again to take the skull and send it to Lord Muskgrave. I could not detect evil from it but still did not trust it. I convinced him that destroying it completely was best, and in the name of Saint Cuthburt I wailed upon its ass, figuratively, it was just a skull after all. Afterwards we returned to the Green Dragon Inn, me feeling rather good that this task was complete, Ferin disappointed he didn't get to have any fun. Moji invited us over to join him and the others, and apologized profusely to us. We decided to forgive him. Ferin wanted me at least to send a letter to Lord Muskgrave, and so I did, though apparently Ferin did not think it was quite what he had in mind and decided to talk with him in person. We decided that it would be best though to first go see Arkandy. We ordered dinner. Then a courier arrives delivering a message from Lord Muskgrave asking what was our status report. The courier boy asked if we had a message back, and then Ferin told him that he was dead. And people think I'm the screwup. Aluna told him Ferin was drunk, and Ferin shooed the kid off. We discussed our options of what to do about this. Everyone seemed to believe he was evil, and probability insane. After a short discussion we decided to turn in for the night talk and talk to Arkandy tomorrow before deciding what to do.
